When do I need to schedule my transport?

As a general rule, the more notice the better, but we need at least 7-10 days of advanced notice to ensure your space on the next available truck. Expedited service can be arranged, but may include additional fees.

Where will my car be picked up?

Do I need to be present upon pickup and delivery?

You or someone you’ve designated should be available in both cases to inspect the vehicle condition before and after the trip.

What kind of protection will my vehicle have?

My vehicle has been modified - is there anything I should know?

If modifications like lift kits or any other alterations have changed the vehicle clearance, please notify us before pickup to ensure that proper accommodations are made.

Can I ship things in my vehicle?

This is strongly discouraged. Not only are we not responsible for damage to any items that may shift and break, but it's actually against federal law to ship household goods in this fashion. It's usually fine to pack a few things securely in the trunk,, but anything more than around 100 pounds is pushing it.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept credit cards for all deposits. The balance is paid to the carrier upon delivery using cash, cashier’s check, or money order.

How can I check on the progress of my vehicle?

Save On Transport provides real-time driver access, so if you have any questions about how your transport is progressing, simply give your driver a call.

Are there fees for oversized vehicles?

In some cases, like most full-sized SUVs, there will be an oversize fee.

How should my vehicle be prepared for transport?

Have no more than a quarter-tank of fuel, remove all personal items, and make sure that your vehicle is prepared for changing weather conditions.

Can I change my plans prior to shipping?

Of course! Addresses can usually be changed with no issues or extra charges as long as they are in the same city or nearby. Dates can be changed free of charge for one month after the initial booking, as long as the change is made before the driver arrives for pickup. If you must cancel you will receive your deposit back, as long as the cancellation is made prior to booking a driver. Contact us with any questions.
